Q – How do I find a legitimate home business opportunity & how can I weed out the scams & rubbish?
I always use Google to find out what people are saying about a particular online business or person. I am not always put off by spam reports as these are quite often unfounded and untrue. So do your own due diligence and find out as much as you can.

Q – What products will I be selling?
The products should not be the prime consideration as the most important thing is the level of marketing training and support you will be given. Learning to sell and market anything online is the most important skill that you can learn and once learned you will have the skill set to sell anything to anyone, anywhere.
Q – What if I have already got a business but still need help with learning to do internet marketing?
You need to find a company that specialises in internet training and marketing – one that teaches you how to sell anything to anyone anywhere in the world.

Q – What is the level of training, ongoing support & backup that I will receive?
Always ask if there are regular live training program with industry top earners and are these events recorded and archived. Find out if there a step by step training program that teaches marketing at all levels.

Q – How much training & support will my mentor give to me?
I will always ask potential team members – how much effort are YOU prepared to invest? I personally match effort with effort and the more time my team put in the more time I will invest in them personally. I hold weekly webinars, am available by telephone and email and always hold a goal setting call to get them started initially. I always make it clear that I am not there to hold their hand but I am there to help support and coach them providing they take action themselves.

Q – I have no experience of internet marketing or website creation – can I do this?
The answer to this question is very simple – if you are determined to do whatever it takes to reach your goals then you will achieve them. In order to make this a bit easier it would help to find a mentor/company who specialise in internet marketing training at all levels.

Q – Will I have to learn to create my own websites, follow up emails etc?
Not always it depends on the system you use. The system that I use is tailored to the ‘newbie’ with web pages, autoresponder emails already created for you. But, once you get to be more advanced and begin to brand yourself you will then want to create your own pages and emails – personal branding is essential.
Q – How much does the business opportunity cost to join?

What are your income goals? If you are looking to be earning $20,000 per month then it is not likely that a free business opportunity or one that costs you $200 to join will leverage this level of income. Any serious business/franchise requires investment of both time and money. A bricks and mortar franchise such as McDonald’s would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars plus all the ongoing costs such as overheads, staff, inventory etc. An online business does not require any of these ongoing overheads and the investment capital usually required is minimal compared to a traditional franchise. You also need to consider that online businesses are often far more profitable business models and they leverage the power of the internet which saves your time and effort.

Q – How much time will this take?
We all get 24 hours in a day and it is how we use and manage this time that is important. If you want the success so badly then you will find a way to create the time you need from this 24 hours. The more time you can invest at the start the faster you will be able to get up and running.

So, just ask yourself how badly do you want succeed and then plan to succeed.

Q – My friends & family think I am crazy what should I do?
How much money did your ‘broke’ family & friends make last year? Are they just dream stealers? NEVER take advice from those who are broke or who earn less than you would like to be earning. They may see themselves as your ‘voice of reason’ – do not allow others to influence your dreams of bigger and better, they will only try to talk you out of it.

Search engine optimization is also something you want to keep in mind when building and branding your business. The main goal here is to drive traffic and get high placement in the search engines. To do this, you must come up with popular keywords. You can find these keywords using a resource called Google AdWords Keyword Tool. This will allow you to come up with best keywords available based on your business.

Another couple of good marketing strategies, is to purchase display advertising and create newsletters.

You can buy ad space for your banner advertisement on a website that you think caters to your target audience. This is a effective way to draw people to your webpage. If you don’t have much capital, start slow and build your way up.

Creating a newsletter will be the icing on the cake so to speak. This is a very powerful marketing tool, and one I suggest personally. My opinion is, that we all internet business marketers should announce those entrepreneurs to the internet authorities. What I will say in this article is the fact, that the internet marketing business is a know how business, which uses the knowledge and the experience, because the nature of the internet marketing is, that it is a skill, which can be learned only by doing it.

1. The Internet Marketing Business Requires Both Knowledge And Experiences.

What is marketing? The answer is not easy, but along to my opinion it is a skill to influence on the target audiences in the way, that the marketer will reach his targets. I think the teacher at a school has the same kind of a work. His job is to get the pupils to learn by influencing them in a good way.

A teacher needs knowledge, which is not the main point, but also skills to make the pupils to learn. What he will use is the stick and the carrot. We can say that the carrot is his experiences as a teacher. He has a touch how things should be done. The touch is a thing, which no collage or university can teach him.

2. Start From The First Step.

I have spoken several times about the importance about the attitude. When a newbie starts his internet marketing business, it is a huge difference, whether he sees himself as a businessman, who will be rich next week or as a student, who will try to reach his first target.

The truth is, that the internet marketing business will be built step by step. Every new step utilizes the experiences of the previous step. So for the newbie the most important thing is to set the first step and to plan and to track the development.

I choose this as a separate paragraph in this article, because the scams are so harmful and dangerous for the newbies.
